Why do you always play those broken records still? No matter how hard you try rock and roll's still dead. You and I, we're not so very different. But you and I we are so very different. I don't believe in God, But I believe that we should all be good. It's kind of funny how one little vowel Has left me so misunderstood. Why do you always play those broken records still? No matter how hard you try rock and roll's still dead. You and I, we're not that very different. You shouldn't tell people how to be. You shouldn't think that your word means a thing. Because all that I have ever seen. Is one big act of hypocrisy. I can't believe in anything. It's just the way I was raised to think, but it doesn't mean I hate you for your beliefs So why do you continue to silently judge me? It's quite simply a basic right: You've got your beliefs and I've got mine. Our sense of values can't be easily defined. So quit your talking behind my back. I know that you're better than that. Come on man, it can't be that bad?

Hayford 04:45
Every good man doesn't have his life begin Until he wishes it would end He closes his eyes, lying in his bed each night Wondering, "Should I take my life?" While fully aware his conscious is a little scared Of what comes after a life so thin and bare As he falls asleep and slowly drifts into a dream He realizes his life is not complete I'm stuck between Where I am and where I thought I'd be When I was only seventeen I've given up on things That used to mean the world to me So now I don't know who to be I'll be ok in a few days Just let me sleep off all of this pain Because I am no good when I am awake I'd rather be dreaming all my fears away And I know that I shouldn't think about killing myself But sometimes that's all that helps
